About The Band
The Garage Sale Band (GSB) started in 2003 as a way for a group of volunteers at the Okemos Montessori Radmoor School garage sale to blow off some steam and relax after a long day raising money for the school. The band has raised money for Montessori Radmoor School, Lansing Food Bank, a mission trip to Malawi-Africa, and Helping Women Period.
What started with an acoustic guitar and some singing has grown into a 5 piece pop rock band now playing bars, festivals, private parties, benefit gigs and occasionally showing up at the Lake Lansing band shelter.
GSB plays a wide array of your favorite danceable pop rock and familiar covers from the 80’s, 90’s to current. Artists like Jimmy Buffet, Queen, Modern English, Stray Cats, Cheap Trick, Steppenwolf, Billy Idol, John Cougar, Cake, Green Day, Neon Trees, Blink 182, Smashmouth, Weezer, Olivia Rodrigo, and many more!
